Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Kastelberg, I was initially charmed by the warm welcome at reception. The top-floor room with a stunning vineyard view was a delight, especially as a food enthusiast who appreciates the scenery. Plus, VIP motorbike parking is always a bonus. The restaurant, despite undergoing renovations, provided an engaging dining experience. I was impressed by the culinary innovation led by the chef, who curated a menu showcasing seasonal dishes, reflecting the region’s bounty. Dining on the terrace as the sun set created a serene ambiance that enhanced my meal. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, offering a pleasant journey through flavors that felt both familiar and inventive. I took my time savoring breakfast there, though I found the pricing a bit steep for what was offered. Nonetheless, the team's dedication to elevating their culinary offerings was evident. Their commitment to quality is something I truly appreciate as a former food critic. I wrapped up the evening exploring the Bar du Kastelberg menu, a relaxing end to my day. If you find yourself drawn to intricate cooking and lovely vistas, this hotel is worth considering for your next culinary adventure.
